Jeremy Rothenberg recently joined Jade Mountain Medicine after 10 years of private practice in San Francisco, California.

My goal is the relief of pain and suffering - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

For more than ten years, I have successfully treated most chronic pain conditions, including migraine headaches, as well as mental health issues, such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have seen hundreds of patients from all walks of life, including military veterans.

I have found that when evaluating and treating the whole person - from your current physiological state and life situation, to past traumas, diet, movement, and even your worldview - the results are profound.

Pain
You should expect quick and lasting results for most pain conditions. Acupuncture is a powerful treatment to release muscle tension, deeply relax the the nervous system, and reorient the body towards balance.

During your first visit, you will experience a significant reduction in your pain. Sustained relief comes with a treatment plan that may include diet and lifestyle modifications.

Mental Health
If you suffer mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, my approach is to treat your humanity, not just your brain chemistry.

Mental health issues are symptoms of a deeper imbalance. In addition to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, you will learn to unwind old patterns of thoughts and emotions that trap your nervous system and consume your energy. We will focus on practical tools to utilize in your everyday life to help change or let go of conditioned bahaviors.

Together, we will retrain your bodymind to release the past so that you can live more fully in the present - for greater ease, joy and peace in your life.

A Short Bio

Before I became a medical practitioner, I spent years on a dual path. On one side I was working in film, video, and the internet. On the other side, I was studying religion, psychology and searching for the meaning of life.

Eventually, I came to a crossroads.

Intuitively I knew that I needed to study medicine to truly understand who and what we are in this world. But, for money, I went back into the dot com world.

It was then that I suffered a series of digestive issues and eventually full blown panic attacks. My bodymind was simply not interested in the path of easy money and product creation.

I was being called to healing.

I encountered a bodyworker and energy healer who made me feel "normal" again after one treatment. At that moment, I made the commitment to learn to do what he did. I have been a student, a teacher, and a practitioner ever since.

It took a while to fully heal. Along the way I met other great healers who have brought me to an even deeper understanding of who I am and how to heal in this world. I am forever in their debt.

My path of duality united into One.
